Gloria Harris is from Meridian, Ms. She currently resides in
Murfreesboro, Tn. In June of 2007, she met her arch-nemesis Lupus.
She was discouraged, frustrated, and uncertain about her future now having to live with Lupus. She researched and committed to herself not to lose hope and give up on her! Lupus caused her many challenges that she hadn’t prior to Lupus had to face.
Prior to her diagnosis she hadn’t heard of Lupus, in which she
found out that many around her had no clue of what the cruel
disease consisted of either. That motivated her to broaden her
research and start Breaking Chains Lupus Organization.
She was determined to make the world more aware of Lupus,
one life at a time.
